rear liftgate supports & oil pressure regulator

Hi all. I need to find a new set of rear liftgate supports (shock/strut?) because my lift gate feels like it weighs 200lbs and I'm getting tired of having a bodybuilder hold the gate open while I'm un/loading groceries. My problem is, I don't know what the proper name for them is and I can only find ones that look like they're for the rear window (which I don't need).

Also, I need to find an oil pressure regulator (i think) but don't know where to start. My panel goes "ding ding dingdingding" and says there's no oil pressure, but I know there is as I've put about 20k miles on my truck and have only had to do regular oil changes.

Anyone know where I can start for both of these items?

Gas struts - this is what I call the liftagte support.
Where have you tried to find them?
Should be easy to get generic ones of the proper length and strength from an auto parts store, or the dealer.
At one time I saw a website where you could specify the gas strut you wanted but I can't seem to find it right now.

For the other problem you are having:
I believe there is a problem with your oil pressure sending unit, or wiring for it.
I am not quite sure where its at on the engine as I've never actually had to work on one on an ls engine -only older style where it used to be under the distributor.
Maybe someone else can point you in the right direction as I'm currently working away from home and can't even go out to look for it.
