Do you think I need another type of strap. I just slid the driveshaft back a bit and it seems like it fits. Just tthat the straps don't fit. That's what it looks like now.

straps are fine, the bearing caps on that ujoint - guessing it is a stock 3R (1344)? caps are smaller than the caps on a 1350. joint.

1.125 vs 1.188

so you need a ujoint that has 3R caps for the driveshaft, and 1350 caps to the yoke

Ok from the numbers you gave me it should fit. It's the same diameter on the part

is the other part no, if they cant cross reference the spicer, but both are pretty common. if you have a good napa around i would try them
