is the other part no, if they cant cross reference the spicer, but both are pretty common. if you have a good napa around i would try them

moog also has one iirc
Ok I'll try to see if they have one. We have two napa around my city. Thanks a lot. I really appreciate the information. You saved my asscause I really need to get my truck moved.

1344 are front u-joints. I think you just need new straps or they will conform to the shape of the u-joint as you tighten them down.

If your rough on things, I highly suggest not getting a joint with a grease fitting on it. I know that sounds wrong, but the joints that can be greased have hollow passages through them and are prone to breaking under hard impact stress.

At the time I was unable to locate a conversion joint that was non-greaseable. I wasn’t about to buy another greasable joint and have it explode, so I had my drive shaft modified and got a bigger yoke on the rear end as well. The 1410 joint has been great for several years and 40-50k HARD miles now.

I'll look into it. I will definitely need something more solid because I tow a lot. Where did you get the yoke from and did you have to set the backlash when installing it?
