Thanks Big Mama, I agree with you that the original setup is sweet! The price for just the ALC shocks is too much, I'm not interested in the cheap eBay shocks.

Those look like knockoff monroe load leveler shocks. I know that people have run those and they eventually squeak when the spring rubs the shock body.I have a 07 burban LTZ with air suspension with 200K miles and same issue.
I just clicked ebay "buy it now" on these bad boys on ebay for $112 after tax and free shipping. No need to mess with replacing rear springs lol. If ebay seller plays by book, they should be at my door in Dallas on Monday

That is a good solution.Me Too! Definitely post some before and after pics with your new shocks.
I did order the Bilstein 4600 with Airlift 1000 bags. Rebuilding the front struts should be FUN! I'll try to remember to get some pics.
