Glad to be with you all here..

2016 Yukon slt xl 5.3 (imported from USA) home use (FRONT AND REAR NON-MAG)

I searched the website and read a lot about the RTD and Mag Ride but couldn't clarify what I have to do exactly!!!!

I would like to change rear suspensions (OIL LEAKAGE) system from air OEM (non mag) to Bilstein (I liked them when I fitted my 2011 Sierra 3500 HD and would like to try them again, and maybe if I fix the rear problem I will change the front shocks also..
In the current time I found the rear one in Rock Auto with cheap price I think $90 for each.

1- Which one should I choose, part # plz? is it 5100 or 5160 or 6112 or??? I need the size that I can fit 35 tire size (such as cooper or BF Goodrich and so).

Examples
Front Bilstein B8 5100 0-1.6 in # 24-253253
Rear Bilstein B8 5100 01 in # 24-253260

Rear Bilstein B6 4600 HD 01 in # 24-253246

2- How to deactivate the air compress (I removed RTD fuse (30 Amp) and tried the Air Com fuse also (30 Amp) after Neg Batt removed and waiting 10 ms..my crankshaft sensor blown (code after HP OBD scanning, delay cranking) and changed with new one after returning back the fuses and the black lady got well and normal again!!) and I ordered (4pcs from UK) 25w 3.9 ohms resistors for incase.

3- Is ShockSims OBD Module can fix this problem?

4- What I have to do exactly??

5- Also I read about the HD rear springs and I should change if I changed the rear OEM suspensions and found many as following, which one is the best?? if you asked me about trailing, yes I will do it one day in the future..

Dorman HD 929-930 (70% LOAD)
Dorman HD 929-929 (35% LOAD)
DAYTON 351897HD (35% LOAD)
DAYTON 351897XHD (70% LOAD)
MOOG 81071 (no info)
MOOG 8106 (no info)

6- Any possibility to erase or deactivate or the rear air compress using HP Tuner?? if yes where exactly in the prog??
7- Any advice??

If I wrote in the wrong place forgive me plz (I am sorry)
Thank You all
Ahmed

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

I hope that you will become a participating member in the Forum's discussions.

Pics of the truck, please.

Could you please post a photo of your RPO code sticker located inside the door of your glove box? I'd like to see exactly which suspension you have installed, as per the RPO codes.

In my 2011 Yukon XL I had Magnaride air leveling shocks in the rear. Regular Magnarides up front. As for handling and ride I added a heavy sway bar in front and back. Those sway bars did not affect the straight line ride, only the handling around in turns and corners. You will be disappointed in Bilsteins if you value ride.
