recommend me some Long Tube Headers

to my understanding but i can be wrong please correct me if i am u wont pass smog here in california if u install headers even with cats on and all that for emissions i think the only mod u can do to exhaust and still pass smog would be mufflers

awch. Hope you plan on pulling the heads to remove the broken exhaust bolts you will find. GM has tons of complaints about this, the new bolts is a must for sure. But it can be hard to extract the broken bolts in the engine bay. I got to bite the bullet too 1 day.

Penetrating oil really does nothing, the bolts are screwed into the block, not the manifold. You'll have much better luck wacking the hell out of the bolt head with a hammer to try and break it loose. Just don't forget to:
- tape up the headers when you install them so they don't get scratched up, it's a tight fit
- use antisieze on the header bolts and the o2 sensors, well I use it on just about everything but brake bolts

So Boss are you happy with those pacesetters? DId you notice any performance gains besides the sound? I have been looking at those for a while on Speed-eng.com. That is next on my list to get.

grrrr Boss now you have me all worried. hopefully and everyone please pray for me that my bolts just come off with no problems i'll probably be doing this install in a week or two.. i'll keep you guys posted.
