Hello,

I am getting my truck worked on and one of the things that i'm having done is replacing the knock sensors. The guy is recommending A/C Delco of course but my question to you is, do any of you have a recommendation on a IMG to select? Through O'Reilly's, I see Fel-Pro and Mahle. I also see AC Delco but they are much higher in price. I figured OEM for knock sensors was fine enough. Any thoughts?

Agreed on the knock sensors. Also, have them replace the harness with a Delco not Dorman unit as well. Personally I prefer Mahle gaskets over Fel-Pro.

I would use AC Delco if available but Fel-Pro is my second choice. Definitely AC Delco sensors and harnesses as well.

For some reason, I forget now, I have heard that when you seal the knock sensors you should not seal completely all the way around. Someone here will help this old man remember.
