Redish Orange leak

hey guys i got this tiny leak that looks to be redish orange and a bit rusty around it too toward the front end bottom of my hoe..is this a radiator leak?

Sounds like a coolant leak. Have you looked under there to see where it's coming from. I'd check the weep hole on water pump, radiator, and all hoses first.

Sounds like Dex-cool to me. Unless you use the orange Rain-x lol. Most likely coolant. I suppose it could be Transmission fluid also. What is the texture of it? Smell?

trans fluid starts out deep red and turns brownish black pretty fast. borwnish orange is def old dexcool coolant

Yeah good call on the trans fluid color, didn't think of it when dirty. Should be able to tell dexcool by the odor.

I think yall are right it is the coolant cause i got a bunch on my hands and washed it off easily with water so it couldn't be oil..ill check all the hoses and the nob too thanks!

I got the same problem, when I drove it for 15 miles, it was leaking orange coolant and the water I put on the washer fluid resovior leaked every drop.... CAN U PLEASE HELP ME on what to check, if I need ton replace the water pump or radiator, it's leaking coolant.... thx for the info

usually from personal experience and from what ive heard its always the seal around the water pump is usually the culprit i just replaced my water pump it was easy and cheap
trans fluid dexron 3 is what we called cherry juice in the army it looks like cherry syrup
dex cool is more orange and clear and not as thick
