Remote Start Defrost

2021 Denali front and rear defrost will not activate when vehicle has been started with remote. Heated seats and steering wheel activate, but not defrost. Some have said defrost has to be on before vehicle was turned off last, but 2015 Tahoe was not like that. What can correct this?

We don’t get much anywhere so I can’t say much. Did you try leaving it on before exiting? I’m curious. I know if I leave my wipers on auto they don’t come on during remote start, only when I hit start inside.

My 2019 has a setting turned on (in the user settings) for that to happen.

I had searched quite a bit in the settings in the vehicle and couldn’t find that particular setting, but happened to luck upon that setting in the My GMC app on my phone.
