Strongest adhesive known to man for the tiniest most useless piece

No kidding, it's like trying to pull off a wheel without jacking up the truck...

I only open the glass when cleaning everything around it. I think I'll be taking mine off too.

It looks SO MUCH BETTER. We have a stock Yukon as well and the difference is night and day. Looks much much cleaner without another piece of cheap plastic on the back.

Are you kidding?

Nope. $51.12 is the list price for that worthless piece of plastic. Now every time I look at a Tahoe, I check out the back window and say "Ugly!" if I see that plastic gizzmo on the rear window. And I smile when I look at my clean rear window.

i never even realized that this piece could be removed until this thread...I believe I'll go try to remove mine after while.

Maybe GM should make worthless trim pieces like this "options" for those who want them.

May be a safety thing in case the glass breaks, i would bet its a mandatory piece for them.

I am thinking about painting mine white or possibly getting it chromed so that it stands out more.

you should disco-ball it and drill a hole in your third brake light housing for a nice reflection.
