Removing Tint from Tailights

I will definitely try the goo gone first. my tails are the pretty much the same darkness as yours are before you removed the tint. Appreciate the help

ive seen it attempted. if the tint was applied professionally or done well, it will never appear stock again.

Well, unfortunately, i tried the goo gone method and i got nowhere. I tried to apply by hand, let it sit and scrape, but nothing made a difference. I tried some laquer thinner and same result. Looks like my only option is to sand it down. Instead of going through this hassle i decided to just purchase some oem tails to use for now. On the bright side, taking the tint of my front windows was quick and easy.
