I'll never understand how anyone can "hate" dip lol. Its just not your style :favorites37:. Has many uses besides on a vehicle
I’ve never had a use for it, don’t like the look either. I see way too many crappy applications where it’s peeling too. It’s spray on bedliner out of a can, that’s all it is.

Well I plastidipped my grey lower valance so it just looks like stock black plastic. But I know how to use it so it dont look like poopoo. Also dipped my switchbacks before they turn gold . That was handy. Originally designed to coat motherboards.

You do know you can just spray it with paint don’t you? I’ve painted nearly all my plastic parts with Krylon Fusion and it lasts forever. And wait- you dipped led’s? lol. You kids these days.

Yep, dipped the led bulbs themselves.

Anyway I get it, 99% of plastidip use is ghetto and applied crappy by people. So it's just a product that has a bad rep from the users. At least we both agree that we hate chrome lol:cheers:

So truck has not been running abnormally outside of a few small drips on the driveway lately. But I took it to my long time mechanic client. Asked if he would have the guys look it over before I drive it up to mammoth next week for a training and make sure everything is road trip ready. He had me drop it this morning on my way to work, and picked me back up after work from the ski area so I could get my truck. He’s a pretty awesome guy! Tech topped off my transfer case with fluid and a little bit of ATF in my transmission. They replaced my serpentine belt and A/C belt. He also tightened up all the underside bolts so should be leak free. Easy $200 to get my truck road trip ready. Lovin’ it! Adding another work order receipt to the stack of receipts for my truck! :D
