On the stop off at Mojave on the way home, Caught some good shots of the previously owned Virgin Atlantic 747 that got purchased as a test bed aircraft, great looking jumbo!

And I managed to snap a couple of the only Lockheed L1011 tristar in the world that’s still operational. This is a really cool plane! Wish I could have flown on one of these back in the day!

Caught this beauty resting on the ramp in big bear when we landed yesterday! We rarely see jets this big on our tarmac so that was a cool catch! Wonder who she belongs to....

It’s called virgin orbit. The plane is nicknamed Cosmic girl, and she’s been modified to launch satellites into orbit, from underneath the wing. She launched a test rocket a while back. It was pretty cool.
