Spyders are about the same price, I checked and I see them on. eBay for $135 shipped.
Mines an 05, my Spyder's were PNP, no separate box and no resistors needed for hyper flash or cruise, thats why i suggested them.

The other reason I don't really like the spyders are because they look like all the other led tails. Don't get me wrong they are clean and classy looking! By far, but to me they aren't super exciting. If I'm gonna drop that much on tails I want them to be different and exciting.

@chevrol8t got the type with the C shaped tube, and you just unplug the factory wire harness and plug these in... no having to mess with plugging into the light sockets (read post #34).
Might have gone with that type if I hadn't already bought the set I have on my truck.

Excellent info. Should be problem solved.

@chevrol8t 's Tahoe, and my Yukon XL are both '00 trucks, I had to use the add-on resistors that came with mine on for the turn signals, and one for the brake light to make the cruse control work. He just plugged them in and it just worked.
I would think that @Bigbeardenali1992 's truck being a '06 shouldn't change enough to cause problems.

...and there will be only two forum members with that tail light style then. :D

Either way contact the seller immediately so you have a paper trail in case the seller try something fishy on returns.
Crappy to hear about the bad luck. Not meant to be I guess, try again in another 6 months :banghead:

@W8TVI , gotta pic of said harness under the rear bumper? I'm so confused. I'm fairly certain the only kind of wiring harness anywhere near my rear bumper is the trailer light hookup on my tow package.
