Maybe so. But now I gotta figure out how to add cushioning material underneath the leather...and I have no clue. o_O

Lol

Probably would be easiest if you used a spray adhesive for upholstery and a closed cell foam, and adhere the foam to the leather. I'd check your local fabric store, the people there should be able to set you up with the right stuff.

Looks great! Do you use armor all on your seats or something? They look greasy

That is a "real leather" one too as opposed to synthetic. That's definitely worth an extra ~~$20 in my book.
No. I bought the truck like that about a year ago. I've never cleaned the seats. They don't feel greasy either. Someone else said they looked dirty also. Now you guys have me thinking about actually doing a deep detail!

Don't guys on here use Scrubbing Bubbles for leather?

I was skeptical but tried it and it does a great job. Doubtful that I'd use it on my seats more than 2-3 times per year, since I have no idea how potentially harsh it would be, but it definitely works to quickly lift and remove grime from my driver seat.

I'd use real leather. And 3m adhesive with staples and new padding. Must be a ton of videos on youtube about this. At least other similar consoles.

I used scrubbing bubbles on my titanium color seats. On black i would test an area under the seat. And give it a couple days. It worked great on mine. Need to do it again. you can still see grime marks where the cleaner did its job. But where leather was bare turned a slight yellow color. So use with care. I think its best on newer seats.

And spend the 10 bucks on the change or phone holder on top of the console. Will look way better. it holds my samsung galaxy note 4 PERFECTLY.
