I've had both the passive suspension and the active Z55 suspension on my 07, and I much prefer the active Z55 suspension.

Price comparison purposes, you can go to GMPartsDirect.com, enter your VIN, go to the Suspension section, and look for the exploded diagram of the shock assemblies. You should find what you are looking for along with the correct part number. And, the cost will be significantly cheaper than the local dealer.

when you look on www.Rockauto.com you will see many shock absorbers available but the ones I believe you need are the shocks for vehicles with Z55 which yours is from that RPO label on your glovebox door...
