Can you post pictures of the fitment installed? I'd like to know if there are noticeable gaps anywhere. Thanks in advance.

Yes sir. The eBay action just added more to their "inventory". I bought it and sent it directly to Chris (vegasf6) to get modded which saved me the shipping. Chris has been very communicative and excellent to work with in explaining the modification and coordinating this.

Can anyone who's received theirs comment on if the black paint is of decent quality and matches the OEM paint well (if you have a black truck)?

Well I remember you saying he said to wait until he finished the first memebers so I was wondering how that went!

Hi guys, I am the one undertaking the mod for Macho. I wanted to wait until I had at least one of these in my hands before I took on anymore, and Rob was gracious enough to be my guinea pig :)

I am still in the early phases of the modification but I can confidently say I can open these up in a manner similar to the OEM. The clearances are a little tighter and it did make it more difficult. Also, there is a dimpled finish on the body of the light that is going to make my finish body work less neat, unfortunately. It will not show when the light is installed, but I do like to do as neat a job as possible.

I don't really have a lot to add at this time, perhaps I will document this modification, but in the past I have left it up to the customer to decide what he chooses to share.

-Chris
