FWIW, I have 11 years of data on my 2007 and 2010 Tahoes of calculated MPG versus the DIC readout. The average difference was that the DIC readout was typically about 0.6 MPG higher than calculated. This has been typical with all of the other GM products I've owned that have had a MPG readout.

It seems to be very accurate compared to hand calculated full fill ups. Usually average ~14.5 on DIC and actual is 14.1

My 7.3 diesel is a famous lie-o-meter, totally useless.

Did a trip to work taking it real easy on the pedal. 60 in a 55 and 67-70 in a 65 mph on the freeways trying not to get run over on my 30 mile drive.
Ended up with 22.0 mpg till I exited the freeway, had to sit at 2 lights and 4 miles on surface streets ended up with total 21.4 mpg.
Man it was painful driving that slow and methodical, but good mileage can be had.

Resonator Delete makes zero impact on fuel economy or power.

Aftermarket intakes on these trucks typically make an impact only in terms of cool looks and sound.

Wow, $155+ for the MIT. That sounds like a really good alternative to a full intake system though. What did you notice, if anything, just with the intake mods? I need a new rear bumper cover so I'm trying to decide if I want to replace it with stock or go with an Escalade dual exhaust model for when I upgrade the exhaust system.

Mine is a 2009 LTZ.

What brand and octane of fuel were you running during this test?

Mine will see 20s below 50 mph on the instant. On the highway it's never been over 18 mpg since buying it. 3.42 gear in yours?

Yes 3.42 gears and I think Quik Trip 91 octane.
I have an Airaid jr with Blackbear tune deleted cylinder deactivation.
