Hi yall, been a while since I last posted and even much longer since I've given my tahoe the love she needs. A few back to back accidents had me "aesthetically discouraged" because of cash problems, but I'm back on track and was hoping for a little feedback and help from the great community of folks here. My 04' Tahoe LT3 has is leveled with the front keys turned all the way down and a 1" spacer in the back. I just got myself some great AT tires (stock 265/70/17) but REALLY want to get the tires to be flush and pop out to match my fender flares. I was thinking about running 1.75" hub/wheel centric spacers all around but have been reading posts modifications that need to be made to the spacer to fit and what not. Any help would be much appreciated!

1 3/4" spacers SHOULD be just fine. Most will say 2", but I had 1 1/2" spacers on my front that I thought were fine..... until I lost a wheel on Valentine's Day this year. The factory studs stuck out about 1/8 of an inch past the surface of the spacers, the wheel didn't sit flush.
I will be putting them on again, but I'll have to grind off the studs to flush with the spacers. But, as I said, it's only 1/8".

I've had someone suggest I add a 1/4" spacer behind the 1 1/2" spacers I have.... but that's just asking for trouble.

Im hoping 1.75" spacers would work. Would not want to lose a wheel and take anything out! Thanks for the input I appreciate it. I'll post pictures of the finished look if anyone is interested.

Once you have the spacers bolted on, see if the studs are recessed into the spacers. If not, take a grinding wheel and take off whatever you need so they fit flush. But, do this with all the nuts seated all the way, they'll chase the threads out when you remove them.

If you don't want to do any grinding go 2". I have the 2" Rough Country spacers on my 01 and the tires poke out a little. I am running 275/70R18's...
