I bought a used set of the newer design valve covers with the built-in PCV system that replaces the old ball style. Only paid about $40 for the set, and $7 for the VHT crinkle paint, and baked them in the oven so they're high heat ready. The Fel-Pro gasket set was $21 but I probably needed to replace those anyway on my old set. So pretty cheap considering I've seen sets on EBay for $120-$ 140 that are powdercoated used covers and don't look as nice.

I think 04 was the first year, when I first got the Caddy I figured I'd do the PCV valve not knowing when it was done last and found out it's not replaceable, there's and updated driver side valve cover after this one they changed the PCV valve inlet on the inside of the valve cover something to do with oil consumption

When I got the 05 6.0 I used my 03 vc's with the replaceable pcv. I don't remember what the vc's looked like from the 05.

That's correct from what I've read, 04, and yes to help with oil consumption, so hopefully I can run without a catchcan since I heard you shouldn't run one with a blower. But my throttle body has stayed spotless since I installed the blower anyway so I might not have a problem.
