Yes. Combined with scotchbrite and laquer thinner to start with because that strips the painted part completely but won’t remove the wood grain. It does seem to strip the shiny layer on the wood grain, then I wet sand the whole thing with 220 and the thinner.So, Mark, you're using lacquer thinner as the "wet" for wet sanding? I need to do this to mine.
