I dug the old lower control arms out of the trash to re-take pictures of them and noticed one had been bent at some point and also had a round piece of metal wedged inside. interesting but it also shows how weak the stock ones are. The Spohn are beefier than hell.

How hard was the install? Just basic hand tools? Looks good.
Pretty easy. Two 21mm bolts for each control arm, put it on jack stands and use a floor jack under the diff to raise or lower the suspension and line things up. The Spohn came with new bolts. Probably took a couple hours including r&r of my huge ass wheels.

On another note, I had sent GM Customer Service here on the forum a PM requesting a build sheet off my VIN and today they emailed it to me. It shows all my RPO codes listed in my glovebox with the corresponding descriptions. Pretty cool and it was free.

On another note, I had sent GM Customer Service here on the forum a PM requesting a build sheet off my VIN and today they emailed it to me. It shows all my RPO codes listed in my glovebox with the corresponding descriptions. Pretty cool and it was free.

Nice idea... Who do we PM lol? I need to get in on this before his box gets flooded and its not so free ;-)
