Ok fellas here's a couple short videos of some runs today after the muffler. They don't do justice to the sound though but they're not bad. One has the rear windows up, one with them down. It looks like my 0-60 time is about 6 seconds. If you watch the one titled boost/afr you can see I hit the throttle at 4 seconds in and at 10 seconds in I'm at 60. Keep in mind I'm now down to 6 lbs boost after the exhaust upgrades and I'm not going to buy a smaller pulley until after the cam so it will definitely get faster. AFR is down to 10.3 in second gear WOT at 4500 RPM and I have let Blackbear know since they said 11 is ideal. I'm hoping I don't need bigger injectors since the next step up is $$$.

I think I def should've went the supercharged route. Sounds friggin excellent. I wonder how the drone will be on the highway at regular speed. Have you done any cruising speed yet?

A little and so far it isn't bad. I'll see more tomorrow, I'm going on a drive and hike with my daughter.

Here's a short clip of a warm startup and a little punch of the throttle. Hold onto your hats fellas it's gonna get loud in the hood. Shoulda seen the look on the neighbors faces sitting on their front porch across the street.

What's wrong with mandals? Sheesh. Damn fashion police, I thought I was safe here at the forum! Anyway, after about a hundred miles of freeway driving at speeds ranging from 60 to 90 yesterday, I have to say I'm surprised. The Aero muffler seems to have no more drone than my Flowmaster Super 44. But I'm telling ya, when I throttle it to pass it friggin' screams, especially under high boost. Yesterday's drive (and hike) was a blast. Besides the freeway driving, I also hit some 4-wheel drive roads with some big-ass rocks and holes. I took it slow and never bottomed out or hit anything. Then my daughter and I hiked to the top of the highest mountain in the Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Defiance. It was an epic trip. The truck cleaned up good lol.

Today I decided to replace the fuse holders on my e-fan relay harness with 8-gauge 50 amp mega fuses since I had an issue and blew the 40-amp fuses a couple weeks ago on 100-plus degree temps, leaving me stranded. And when I cut the old fuse holders out I have to say I was glad I did. The existing wire had melted the protective covering off in an area and partially melted through the split loom. This wire was the remaining part of the original harness from LS1fans.com and was obviously undersized, as were the relays and relay blocks. I have confidence in the entire harness now that I've nearly rebuilt the entire thing but I will be keeping an eye on things. If anything happens again, I'll be looking at the fans themselves.IMG_6866.JPG IMG_6868.JPG IMG_6869.JPG IMG_6870.JPG IMG_6871.JPG
