I removed my hood, headlights, and fenders. Then I started on the fab work. The tubs need to be swapped over to the new fenders so I cut the first one off the passenger fender and started prepping it for reinstall. I bought a HF welder a couple months ago so I guess it's time to learn how to weld lol.

I don't think it's going to be as hard as I initially thought. They welded the tubs to flat sheet metal, then removed most of the inner fender structure and welded the flat panel with tub attached into place. It's pretty easy to line up.

I can get to the adjustments on the amp pretty easy. Main power was run through the floorboard in an existing grommet and along the frame inside of split loom so it looks factory. Sub level control is mounted in the cubby with my air switches. I still haven't dialed it in yet because my fenders came in today, which happens to be my birthday. So I spent time working on those today too.

Thanks guys. And yes I am old, definitely feeling it today. But I got a bit closer on the passenger side fender. So much structure to cut out. I still have one area left but I need to make a brace first before I cut the old part off so I don't have to measure.
