Ok I kinda want to scream. I got the tune today and installed both the ECM and TCM tunes, figuring maybe he changed something with the transmission tune as well. Immediately the Traction Control and Stabilitrak warnings popped up in the DIC. I plugged the Tech2 in and there’s no communication with the TCM, and I notice the PRNDL display is blank. I know what this means, been there before- the trans is in limp mode. I reprogrammed the TCM with the stock tune and same thing. I sent Justin an Email.
Edit: also ordered a used TCM off EBay for $27, it will be here in 3-4 days. Worst case is I’ll program it to my VIN with the Tech2 and load the original modified file since I know that one is ok.
Justin said you might have turned the key off too quickly, if you haven't already try and flash it again.

I tried it 3 times, with all 3 tune files- the original, the first modified one, and this modified file. I will try again and wait longer but I waited for the 15 seconds to count down every time.

Maybe count a little slower? Just trying to help out...although that may not be what you want to hear

Ok, I cleared the DTC’s with the Autocal instead of my Tech2, programmed the TCM, same thing. Then I did that process twice more and on the third time the Autocal actually had the percentage display as it was programming which it never showed before. All the times until now, when I went to program it would say checking, boot loader, erasing, and then when it went to program it would say programming but immediately said “key off”. Anyway, it’s ok now. No more CEL, my PRNDL display is back, no TC/ stabilitrak on the DIC. I’m gonna wait until tomorrow to test drive it, I have to cook ribs now for dinner!

Then I guess counting slower wouldn’t have helped out in the end...I tried! Lol But glad you got it to finish doing what it had to do! Bet you’re in a better state of mind afterwards

Ok so I lied. It was sunny for a change so after dinner I took it for its maiden voyage with the new cam. Bad news. It’s still a 4.8. Good news is that it has a lot more power! I didn’t run it too hard, gonna break in the cam and springs but I did rev it up to 4500 rpms or so on a few 1-2 shifts and it feels like it really wants to take off. I’m happy, and Justin said I can send him a data log and he will build a 91+ octane tune and I can see what it does with that on premium. Also I forgot to have him build a sport tune for the tow/haul button especially since I don’t even have a hitch receiver. I’m not sure if he tuned for chop either, it doesn’t seem like there’s a lot.
