Are you planning on doing any power mods to this?

Any ideas on how many watts that thing is pushing?

Nope.

Don't you guys read???

He has a dog and his seat stays flipped up all the time and he doesn't want clutter... he likes clean... lol

Was just an option because the top is flat since the woofers face forward...

I did a BlackBear tune via my Autocal and it has a CAI but other than that, not really. I'll probably do something with the exhaust, maybe an inexpensive set of headers if I can make them work. The exhaust on a truck this modified is limited though, there's not much room for it. It currently has a mid dump on it and I'm not crazy about the sound, but I have to keep in mind the comparison is The Beast with American Racing longtubes and basically straight pipes or louder with the Aero Turbo muffler it has.

How many watts do u plan on having?

Not sure, probably 150 RMS.

What's next for The Beast?

The Beast is pretty much done. I have nothing left that I want to do to the suspension, exhaust or brakes, and I don't really want any more power because I'm afraid I'll start breaking powertrain components. It's a blast to drive and it's a great daily. I'm more interested in it lasting a long time just the way it is.

I was looking at the space that's under the seats when they're folded up. There's space there, and when they're down there's space. But during the process of folding them up or down, they swing down into that space so it's a no-go. The truck utilizes every bit of space back there except a few inches on the back wall, enough for amps back there. I had read a thread about building a box behind the seat, on the wall, but when I found it again today I realized the dudes truck was a NBS. They have room back there. So here I am.

It's bagged and you're not gonna abuse the bed= BLOW-THROUGH! :p

What about switching to buckets and factory center console, with sub under that?

Possibly if I could find some ebony leather buckets and a console for cheap but I have a feeling that wouldn't be likely.
Wait... I have buckets now with a center jump seat. But I kind of like having storage there. I think I'm just going to look for a good all-in-one and put it under the front seat or against the back wall. I just need SOME bass. If it's not enough, I can get a second one.

I was thinking the center jump seat was part of a 60/40 seat configuration. After seeing pics like this:

...I see it's similar to the SUVs, but with a front to match the different dash.

So, you'd just need the center console from a Bose-equipped truck and a small amp to power the sub directly or get one of those aftermarket enclosures that fit inside the console and replace the Bose sub/amp altogether. The OEM console can hold a gallon of milk and a 32-ounce Gatorade, so you won't lose storage space.

A good OEM console would probably be at least $100, the enclosure is $150, then the 8" sub, an amp... So, yeah, one or even two of those Sound Ordnance subs on the back wall would be cheaper and should be plenty. Maybe mount it/them as low as possible so the sub isn't totally muffled by the seat? Do you have 3.125" of clearance behind the seat?

Can you please find me a center console in my area then? Lol every time one comes up for sale here they want 300+ for it

Edit: unless you are referring to different one. I’m just going off what’s in your picture

Yeah, center consoles around here look like they're $300 too. I don't want to spend $500-$600 on this. Good idea though.
