Rough idle at start up

When I started the truck this morning it started right up but began to idle a little rough and dropped to about 500 rpm then back to a 1000 and back to 500 an continued to idle rough for a few secs. I backed it up to park in drive and seemed fine. Is there some sensor that could do this or would a fuel filter be the culprit? Please don't say fuel pump! It seemed to snap out of it.... and drove fine all 250 miles yesterday.

Mine did that once and I was told a piece of carbon might have came of the EGR valve and blocked something from closing all the way. Never happened since though

i cleaned my ICV and it helped.

I assume that is some fuel additive? Never tried it before.

X2 and Clean the MAF with MAF cleaner! Make sure everything is tight tight tight. Then tighten it again.

These two parts are what connect your engine to the outside air

The MAF sensor is connected to your air filter box. Air comes in through the box, through the air filter, through the MAF sensor, and into the throttle body on the engine. The MAF sensor has a screen attached to. Read the instructions on the MAF cleaner can and you're good.

Follow the air tube from the MAF sensor to the engine to find the throttle body. When you are cleaning it, open up the flap and spray/wipe with throttle body cleaner.
