Rough Idle/Nearly Dying Engine

Speak to anyone there that is in service department and tell them what you want done and the time concern and to have your contact call back asap. Any service writer should be able to do that.

I called and talked to my rep. He didn't see the concern in replacing the knock sensors. However, the real deal-sealer was the $120+ per sensor price tag. I picked up the truck this morning. It was 0 outside and there was no rough idle!

Next, the wiring harness in the rear hatch has a bad connector. That's why the defroster grid isn't working. That part should be coming soon.

Ok, we shall see. My problem with it is that I know from history and the mechanical side of it, was in the field 35 years, that they go bad. Hope it all works out. I know you have to weigh the cost for it with what you can afford. Make sure that if you ever have to have them done that you replace the harness for each at the same time.
