Hey guys, I'm new to the forum but definitely not new to the Tahoe. We've owned the 98 for about 5 years. About a year ago I decided to sas it. I used the kit from gatsby trucks and used axles from a 78 f250 (Dana 44 front with disc and Dana 60 rear with drum) and an eBay crossover steering kit. I used rear leaves out of a late 90 burb with an add a leaf and a shackle reversal, up front I used mid 80 1/2 ton springs. Shocks are bilstein 5125's, stock sway bar in rear and none up front. I used a np 241c t case. It ended up being about 9"of lift (compared to a stock one at a used car lot). It's been a hell of a ride. The trickiest part for me has been to get the steering stability on par. I've got it pretty close but it's still a bit finicky. It's got 35-12.5/18 on it. It's still got a ways to go to be finished, but the majority is completed. I'll have more pics on the way. Thanks for looking and appreciate all comments and/or questions/criticism...
