I'm just getting into really modding this NNBS tahoe that I'm "inheriting" from my wife. I know everything you'd ever want to know about the NBS or a TBSS but I'm curious as to what Big Brake kit's are out there for these things. I'm not lookin to spend the farm on them but I do want something with different calipers, not just new bigger rotors. The Z06 brake kit swap isn't really dooable for me from what I understand being that it has a McG spindle drop on it already. What kits should I be looking at and where to buy? Thanks for the help.

look at my signature ...... I am THRILLED with this setup and have several thousand miles using it without a hitch. Stops on a dime and is much much better than others I've tried.

Also look at EBCs. I have the slotted rotors and Greenstuff pads. Much better performance, especially with brake fade. Got mine at autoanything.com.

IMO BBK not needed. I have larger MT tires and with a full camping load the brakes are great through the mountain decents.

I have Wilwood's which are not cheap but they work awesome. Larger 2 piece rotors, 6 pistons fronts, 4 pistons rear and stainless lines :mexsmoke:

I don't think they will clear 20's, but you would have to confirm that from Wilwood. I think the kit cost more than 4k new  I bought mine used of this forum for half that :)
