I wouldn't invest too much faith in data that is so easily manipulated by ones use of the throttle. I'm guessing this works the same way higher octane fuel does. It must delay ignition a bit. That would explain the better gas milage.

For you guys who are already heavily invested in this, try filling up with a higher octane fuel, but leave out the 2 stroke oil and see how the data compares. I bet you will get the same results. If you do get the same results, switch to the higher octane and drop the 2 stroke oil. That might save you even more money. The added detergent in the higher octane fuel should provide the extra cleaning you were getting from the oil, plus It's most likely better for your fuel system too.

Please let me know if anyone gives it a shot.

Yeah but you are paying an extra 50 cents a gallon. Thats 13 bucks on a 26 gallon fill.

Most of the 2 stroke benefits are probably lubrication in the upper cylinder would be my guess, and lubing the fuel system. I

It needs to be a TCW3 certified/rated 2 stroke marine oil. 1 oz per 4-5 gallons. Ideally a ~500:1 ratio is ideal (1oz per 4 gallons) but you can run it as thin as ~640:1 (1oz per 5 gallons). Any thinner is said to be not worth it & any richer could clog o2's or smoke a lil.

Gotta Take aLeak Eh!

Kidding love the Canadians! You are imperial gallons correct?

Last Time to Canada was 20 years ago. Did a Knobbys fly in fishing trip out of Dryden Lodge was on Pelican lake where we flew out of. Fun times. Cigs 5.50 a pack gas was 3 something then, and I thought it was imperial gallons which I think is larger. Imp= 4.55 litres. gallon=3.75 litres, Or 1 us gal.=.83 imperial gallons. So a 26 us gallon tank holds 21.65 imperial gallons.
