So i have read some write ups and seen how to do it but im curious as to how many are for or against it, im going to do on monday i am thinking

I ran a can thru a tank of gas last week and added a can to my crankcase during an oil change. I didn't get all the smoke that everyone says you get from the engine add but we will see if it helps. Advance auto had it on sale 2 for 1

Depending on how many miles/how old your truck is, will be a factor in how much crap you get removed from there. I have an 06 and got a small amount but nothing like you see on youtube with these huge clouds. As for the OP, I'm not sure there is anyone here that is against it. Seafoam has been around much longer than most of the members on this board. It's formulated to not mess up your sensors or cause internal damage. Now if you get some sort of fault code as a result, it's probably because you dislodged a piece of crap from somewhere in your system and it got caught up on a sensor or blocked it. To that I say run it through a second time.

If you use the product correctly, it works great. Must let the vaccum line suck up half the can, shut engine off and leave it sit for 15-20 minutes, then go for a ride.

Will be a huge plume of smoke for a few blocks.

well i am getting more and more confused the more i read and see about this lol, so if i vaccuum up half the can and drive and put other half in fuel tank, am i done? what is this talk of oil change

you do it about 300 to 500 miles before an oil change, then when you change the oil all the crap that the seafoam cleans up will come out with the oil change.

stuff is GREAT! I have put it in my gas, crank case, and Vac line... only complaint I have heard that makes sense is the possible build up it creates on the pluggs. I did not have a problem with that though.

I use it everytime I do an oil change, I also keep a spreay bottl;e with it and clean my TB inside at every oil change.
