Wiring diagrams don't specify #1 or #2. Only left or right.
Guessing, I'd say passenger... Looks like there are 7 sensors, 4 more for side impact, and a rollover sensor..

Maybe unplug one and see if you get another code?
If same code (or new code also #2), then it's the one you unplugged.

Mine has been on for about two months. I don't have a tech2 but a shop scanned for me and said it was the front airbag sensor 2. My question is does anyone know if that is the driver or passenger side of the radiator?

If they weren't $170 a piece I would replace them both at the same time but rather just get rid of the annoying light for now. I've been driving the truck for 3+ years without a splash shield so figured that's what caused it.

Also if anyone knows where I can get a quality replacement for less than $170 let me know
most likely passenger side, you can get away with a used one off of ebay or a junkyard or get a dorman.
what happens to these usually on the gmt900's is they corrode internally and then this causes the sensor to split/crack open. you may be able to see this visibly from under the truck with a flashlight or when you pull it out. on the 2007 it should remove from the top at some point around 2010 they changed the design and those remove from the bottom.
if you poke around the forum a bit some have posted pictures of there's clearly corroded and split open, looks like battery acid coming out when they do this

There's one factory in Singapore that makes these and they put them in Dorman or GM boxes. Sometimes you open a Dorman box and see the GM sensor, sometimes the other way around.

Ebay has them for $97 to $125 depending on the part number. MY impact sensors happen to be Dorman 590-222. Yours may be different.

A 10mm ratcheting wrench makes things easier if memory serves.

Order up that splash shield while you are at it.

It's an 07 and when I look at them from underneath the truck it looks like they are removed from the bottom.

The local dealership referenced my vin to confirm the part number. They said it was 85598011 and $320 each. Gm parts.com $258. Cheapest I found for $170 was here:

I may try they ebay option and see how that goes. Yep, I'll be ordering the splash shield too. Thanks for all the suggestions.

According to Rock Auto that crosses over to Dorman 590-274 and those are $104.79 each at present. Google around and you may find it for less.

if the screw is in the bottom you just use a socket that fits and the thread will be reversed, so instead of righty tighty it will righty loosey
either way just loosen it up and it will slide out of the slot, the slot is keyed like a wall mounted bracket

Any wiring diagram help would be great. I somehow tore the two wires out of the driver's underseat connection while removing the seat to replace the cushion the other day, and need to rebuild the harness with some new wire and solder.
