P0106 is related to the MAP sensor. Vacuum leaks like Steven mentioned can set this off as well as a skewed or faulty sensor or ECM. A subscription to AllDataDIY will allow you to diagnose the problem with your scan tool and a multimeter.
I looked over the intake for vacuum leaks. I actually just swapped MAP sensors with my moms suburban, took a short drive and have no codes.
I replaced a failing drivers side hub tonight, but still received my stabilitrac messages. I think I’m fighting two issues at once, although anytime the stabilitrac messages appear the P0106 code is present. I’m going to drive it on my known good MAP sensor for a day or two to confirm. Fingers crossed

I was reading on some forum about these, one guy asked if Buick and GMC can be read from these? My dad has a GMC Sierra I need this to work on, do you have the option to chose GMC vehicles?

ya, works on everything GM except what he has listed at the bottom of the description mostly 10-13 oddballs equinox, srx, cruze, etc..
if you want to do Saab or whatever it just takes a different pcmcia card

I just bought the one you linked. Thanks, hopefully I can get a better handle on this once it arrives.

cool, you might to read up on some basics of how it works, just google tech2 manual or instructions and you will find some various information online, like which vin character to use, my denali uses the 4th character, but my Silverado uses the 5th, the rest of it is sort of intuitive for the most part.

So poking around the hood I found the main engine harness to be rubbing on a stud near the drivers side valve cover. Sure enough about 5 wires were chaffed through the insulation. Hopefully this is my ultimate fix, that would explain the MAP code and the stabilitrac issue if the wires were shorting out. Time will tell.

Good sleuthing OP! That's not the easiest or most intuitive place to check for this issue. You could have spend quite a bit of money for the local shop to stumble across this.
