Definitely looks better, I never really liked the bow tie.

Ok, I'm sold. That looks awesome with your truck being black. I don't know if it would look as good in a different color. Looks great when compared to stock.

You know what would really set it off would be a fine mesh Bentley-style grille. I think I still see the bow tie being there in my head because of the notches in the factory grille for the bow tie. Just an idea.

Yeah I thought about doing that but I wanted to use factory parts. I have another LTZ mesh I may try to mess with. Problem is if I get it to look right by piecing the mesh together in the center, I'll never be able to get it chromed because of the epoxy needed to combine them. I don't trust my painter to do chrome paint, I did think about a very high metallic silver for the upper and lower but that just wouldn't look right with everything else chrome on the truck.

For now it will stay until I can figure something out with it. But I want to keep it factory mesh.
