Thanks guys.
And yes, there needs to be wiring done to get the hatch to pop with the remote after removing the wiper motor.

Well I for one would like a write up

I will even make it a sticky...

I shaved my handle and wiper as well, but added a secondary button next to the window pop button. If you remove the wiper motor completely, the glass will not pop as theyre wired into the same circut. I simply cut the shaft off the motor and left it intact so both the glass and gate can be popped by button or remote.

If anyone in the Houston area is looking to do this mod, I do body work professionally at a very well known dealer in the area and would definitely help you guys out at a reasonable cost. PM me if youre interested.

I have my rear wiper and handle shaved.
The wiper motor, arms, and other accessories were removed along with the handle.
I then rewired the gate operation to work with the pop glass button. I also wired the pop glass button to still work with the remote because after removing the wiper motor (which is the brains to the whole hatch), I could not open the pop glass at all anymore. Most of the members on the forum with the NNBS and shaved wipers cannot pop their rear glass anymore because of that issue.
I was going to do a write up on how to do the whole process a few months ago, but decided not to waste my time because a lot of the members on here are only interested in adding stock accessory parts to their cars and not full out customizations. That being said, it takes way too long to type that stuff out and take pics to make a thread that goes unnoticed.

Now on my to do list. Looks so sleek
