should I buy a 97 yukon 5.7 vortec 4x4 thats not running

I paid 2K for mine running. A few people got non-running trucks on craigslist for $800. Start $1,000-1500 IMO

Looks like the high price is due to the wheels/tires and HID set up also apparently "good" leather interior.

alrighty guys I really really appreciate the help and insight, thanks a lot! I'm gonna pass on this one and try to find one that's atleast running and I'm gonna try to get a mechanic to check for the things u guys stated thanks!
