IMG_0421.JPG Hi guys,
My dad is looking to buy a new Yukon XL and he found one on the lot and they're offering him an insane deal. However, the only problem is that the car vibrates. The salesperson said they will just have to balance the tires because it's been sitting on the lot for 2+ months. The car has 22 in wheels and Bridgestone tires. I seemed skeptical, but I had vibration issues with mine as well with 20 in rims and Conti tires and all the dealer did was balance the tires and it was gone. I've looked into his and read many horror stories with this rim and tire combo. So based on all of your experiences, should I advise my dad against the purchase? How have all of your experiences been with the 22in rim???

Have them balance the tires and then drive it again. Otherwise no way.

Looks like a nice ride if the price is right.

Called the dealer and told them, thanks! The price is truly great. MSRP of $67,000 and with current incentives, loyalty, and discount we were able to bring it down to $57,000!!

So what did they say....

Said they balanced the tires but something was wrong with the left front, so they offered to replace the entire set with another one from another truck on the lot. Will see if it solves it when we drive it.

June 2016. not bad for $10k off.
Just double check those tires. I'm not a fan of the 22" because of the ride plus I'm in NY. I got 20" with the continental and love the ride. 2k miles

Where do you live? There is a dealer by me offering $12,000 off.
