Should I get these?

O no the homemade bar just goes on the roof bolted down and it's nor raised unless u want it to be.

do you have the resources to make them or a pic? now that you got me thinking about it , i was just going to install the lights on the roof rack but i can envision a better idea if you could help me get one of these or by means show me where i could get one

Well I am going to use a slim hollow long aluminum or something light and paint them to match the truck and not oxidize, then drill holes on the roof or if ur scared then find a way to fasten it to the roof, then put in a couple of hole on the homemade bar and make sure u measure correctly and wire it down. On eBay I have seen factory ones and they cost $80 when I said **** that and I can make one for less than $20. Just use ur creativity and google a light bar if needed to steal some ideas. Maybe if u look around the house u can find something light and box shaped while long to use. If u can't do it then go to eBay and type in light bar and look for a good one and bolt it down to the roof. Don't put it on the door because it looks ugly and is raised and not sitting on the roof

Well I just put the lighting on hold for now because I just bough. Kicker 4x6s and 6x6s for the tahoe. I am going to cut a hole I. The door for the 6x6 speakers and wire them up. Since thes old hoes didn't come with door speakers has anyone done this? Can they gloat pics so I can see what u did to fab it. And what u used to cover and protect them. Thanks

yes its sadly mounted on the roof rack havent forked over the cash for a roof rack yet and it is a one piece design ill take some closeups of it tommorow it came off of a combine tractor it has two forward lights and two coastals ill take pics tommorow for you all to see i always get asked where i got them , they were working until i blew the bulbs i have to get them replaced and going to get a profesional wire them in so i wont hava future problems with them they are BRIGHT AS HELL

going outside to take pics now sorry me forgot but notice the two outer coastal lights they are angled im guessing about 10 degrees to either side of the truck excellent for mapping the trails at night

i didnt they were originally ran down the side of the roof rack and went down a hole i drilled in my roof in place of a gromet and a sealer called GOOP (no leak issues) but when i fried one of the head lamps and a bus fuse i decided to disconnect it all , i plan on rebuilding the unit as soon as i get the roof rack which i should have the cash next month to get. unless it decides to break on me again doubt it tho
