Show me your nali with out side steps

A truck in front of me this week had a niche of crap come of the tailgate. I ran over it. 2 flats and my side step sone molding is cracked.

I want to see if anyone has a truck set up without the side steps on. I might take mine off now but don't know how it will look. Have 20s. Looking on doing a 2/4 drop in the future. Thanks

On a Denail the side moldings come out to meet the steps... think it may look a little funny without the steps there. Would be an awkward transition.

I was trying to imagine what it would look like. I didn't want to take off all the moldings. Options are short I guess. Get it fixed or get it off.

Not sure what color your Denali is but here's a ****** attempt to show you what it would look like. Remember you can clearly see the frame once the running boards are removed so maybe paint the noticeable part of the frame black so it's not as obvious.



You can see in this picture how much the frame stands out.

Any luck getting them all off?
My truck is wrapped with Avery Satin Vinyl.

I didn't get to it. Had kid duty most the weekend. Washed my bike with the time I did have. How does that vinyl hold up. Did you do it or take it to a shop?

I did it all myself, saved about $3000. Its closing in on about year being wrapped and there is no staining or damage from all the salt, mag chloride, rocks etc. it does take a lot of care and time to wash properly, about 2hrs for a quick rinse with the two bucket method and microfiber towels to dry.

Only time will tell but so far it's been amazing and I get a lot of people asking who painted it.

That wrap really does look killer. Be proud. How long of a process was that? I like low maintenance don't know if I can spend 2 hours for a quick rinse.
