Yea I prefer it, slim and more flush compared to the eagle eyes. Eagle eyes seem a little brighter but these have a broader beam instead of the eagle eye with a focused projector beam, and still have more than enough light for its purpose. Might throw a couple on the sides of the engine bay on the inner fenders just cause I have more lights and would be super easy.20170918_074657.jpg

Gutted a 3157 socket and put an eagle eye in its spot

What is the lumen rating of your reverse light, Eagle eyes? I have 1200 lumen (rated) in old, factory housings, and they aren't bright enough to see through my tint :-(

Claims 1080 LM each. I had them in factory housings and they were ok. Once I got new tails with crystal clear reverse lens it made a huge difference.
