Again more lights, I'm dave and I'm a lightaholic.

Another thread to share our ideas about exterior lighting. Can be led or non led, oem or custom. Anything from licence plate lights to 52" curved led bars to depo headlights.

I'll start with my puddle/courtesy lights in the mirrors. Instead of the festoon 42mm led replacements I built a plate out of plexiglass, abs plastic or aluminum will work but i had this laying around, and bolted in some led 23mm projector eagle eye bolts.
They are insane bright and one of my favorite light mods I've done to my tahoe.

I upgraded my tail lights from these sickly looking stock tails:

To these LED tail lights:

And put these JDM ASTAR 1200 lumen LEDs in the reverse sockets:

HUGE difference!

TYC Denali projector copies, with 9011 HIR1 bulbs in all four spots, new fog light assemblies (I might do LEDs or HIDs in there some day), LED DRL, turn signals (had switch backs at first, I may go back to them some time), and side markers.

It also has LED puddle lights, and license plate lights.
So all interior and exterior lights excluding fogs, headlights, vanity, and glove box lights are all LEDs

With 05Single being my advisor for lighting, I did a little eagle eye mod also. I popped out my map lights and mounted the eagle eye leds in their place. Cut the old wiring out and redid it. They are insanely bright when the door is open I just need to wire it up a little different so that it's insanely bright when I press the button. I don't have any photos right now but if someone wants to see how bright they are I will. And Dave you were close to being right. They are almost at the point of being too bright haha
