I went to a auto paint supply store it was 14 bucks. You get rubber all over the place so if your **** about your garage do it outside.

I wish I had a garage to be **** about, lol. I'll be doing it outside, running an extension from my apartment for my heat gun, lol. Although, here in Dallas with 110 degree weather, I don't know if I'll even need the heat gun!

at 110 you won't even need the heat gun I don't even use a heat gun if it's 80. Just let it sit in the sun for about 30 minutes before hand and you're good

Any suggestions for pulling/prying off the molding? I don't remember who, but someone suggested fishing line to get it started.

Fishing line and a heat gun are good options. I use small, plastic spackling tool from Westlake. If you do, though, make sure it's fairly new so that it's smooth and won't scratch the paint. I've had really good luck with it with no mishaps.

Yeah, $40 though. I think that is way overpriced. I found it on Amazon for $30, but I had been planning all week to remove the molding this weekend. I'm not very patient. Sears also carries it online for ~$32. I was very surprised, though, because half of the places that I called had no idea what I was even talking about.
