I'm thinking the side to side adjustment might not be on the actual housing itself, but part of the bracket the housing attaches to. I'll poke around tomorrow night when I install my new lights and see what I can find, but I'm almost positive it is DOT required that there be a way to adjust them both ways.
My old car had it (which was actually newer then my Denali), but it was totally hidden by the manufacturer. Apparently they don't like joe public messing with that part. You had to literally pry off an innocent looking plastic cover to reveal a bolt that indeed did adjust them laterally.
actually, it is frowned upon now a days. It is absolutely NOT mandated (on purpose).I can't for the life of me find anything about how to do lateral adjustments on our headlights, but there has to be a way. Pretty sure it's required by law to be at least possible, even if the general public doesn't know how the dealers usually do.
Anyone know??
I get what your saying now but I am confused as to why they would change something like that on the same year but different trim level. I guess if the Denalis come with projectors, that could be why there are no adjustments but as you can see clearly on mine there are 2 points of adjustment on this one. One is for height and the other for side to side.
