I put the SLP kit on my tahoe and it didn't change the sound at all.... at first. I do think it has gotten a little louder and now with the airaid JR kit it sounds really good when you're on the throttle but still to quiet at idle and normal driving. The only stupid design flaw with the SLP kit is that they reduce the size of the pipe at the end where the tip slides on. While I know it probably doesn't make a big difference that was a stupid design.
