Well as the name States I'm a ford guy sorry lol. But I have a 99 GMC Yukon with the 350 vortex so to get to the point I cracked the block forgot that I only had water in the cooling system. OK so I have a 90s TBI block that's a flat tappet style cam block code 10054727 now what I need to know is can I swap the heads the cam everything from the vortex block code 10243880 to the TBI block. I really like this truck but I'm lost I have no clue if any of this will work and I really can't find any solid info on this. The biggest thing I can see between the blocks is in oil galley the vortex block has retainer to hold the rollers in place as the flat tappet block doesn't any information would be greatly appreciated.

What I mean is I have a 90 c1500 350 block that had the TBI can I pull the cam put the roller cam and lifters and vortec heads crank pistons and rods in the older block I have a budget of like none and this way I get new bearings and gaskets and rings instead of buying a long block somewhere

It isn't likely. Some of the TBI blocks had factory roller provisions, some didn't.

If your lucky enough to have the provisions they will have to be drilled and tapped for the bolts most likely also on the vortecs there is a cam retainer plate behind the cam gear that the TBI engines didn't come with I don't believe but you can probably have the machine work done to have this installed also.

Check with Comp Cams and see what they say...if anyone knows they do.
