Got pics? I'd like to see what the 22s look like on it
I'd also like some details on your tires and wheels. Did they fit with no mods?

I've had a Denali on order for almost 3 months and they have yet to give me a build date. I think they slowed way up to address quality issues. It's really frustrating.

Wheels are 22”x9” +24 offset. Tires are 285/50r22 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. No rubbing noticed to date. Had planned to install front level but was not needed to clear the setup.

Not a fan of the look or the increased length. The Tahoe at the dealer was $80K. Ouch. For that I could buy not one, but 2 barely used 2019 Durango R/T's with Hemi's and keep my 2010 Tahoe! But I'm sure they will sell like crazy.........

Yeah, but I think the GMC Yukon SLT is the best bang for your buck with regards to the new 21s. Mine was $65k with Healthcare professional discount and has everything I could ever want. Heated/cooled seats, pano, bucket center seats, rear media, 2 speed transfer case, brake controller, power folding seats, etc etc. It's crazy, but the one option that swayed me towards the Yukon was the lights. It has full LED front/rear AND fog lights. Another thing that the Z71 does not have is ventilated seats. It's not even an option for it. So I went with the Yukon SLT. I would have loved the AT4, but I couldn't wait for them to hit dealers. I love the off-road look, but would likely never take it off road. Maybe after 3 years or so and the $65k new car smell is gone....

Just shy of 2k miles on our 21 z71 now, ITS BEEN INCREDIBLE! The ride quality and shift smoothness compared to our 18 is night and day. Has been bullet proof. I noticed a couple harder then normal downshifts, however, they go away when taken out of auto and put it 2L. This fixed a similar issue on our 18, so 0 complaints there. Working as a service writer, I don't let small piddly b.s issues bother me, seeing how customers get. "I PAID 80K FOR THIS TRUCK, BLAHA BLAH BLAH". so with that being said, I have a passenger front door that rattles TERRIBLY on certain rap or heavy bass songs, its not the speaker, its a looseness in the panel, will deal with later. I also don't like that my door weather stripping is loose, haha. The lack of column shifter took a lot of getting used to, but perfecting my high speed push button shifter get aways everyday!

So a brand new truck is BULLETPROOF except for loose interior panels, rough downshifts and poorly installed weather stripping.

Ok. So a I love my truck. Had a 2016 Yukon Denali that was loaded with issues, but I also really enjoyed that vehicle for hauling my kids around. That thing had a Terrible transmission, super harsh ride, and too many tech issues to list.

The new ride is a 2021 High Country and have put 2200 miles on it. Took it on one long trip. I have the service restraining system issue light issue(been to the dealer twice)and a really strange annoying humming whistling sound in the rear right cabin from I believe the exhaust when I get on the throttle a little at low speed. Not too many rattles.

The ride in this thing is great, my shifts are awesome after coming from the 16, and the tech / led lighting are also really nice. wireless car play is an excellent bonus feature.

Main gripe is that GM screwed up by not having fog lights on any model Tahoe, the exhaust is terrible, and the high country wheels are awful. I stayed away from the quiet Ford V6 for a 6.2 V8 that has zero growl. Fact of the matter is that any rattles or humming sounds are noticeable because this thing has a giant muffler, Adaptive valves at the ingress and egress sides of the muffler and 2 large resonators behind each twin tip.

I work in the automotive service industry, if you seen what I seen and listen to the nonsense I hear, EVERYDAY, these issues do not bother me 1 iota! My 18 shifted the same from brand new, my warranty will fix an interior rattle and my weather stripping works just fine,as weather stripping, haha. I will take all of that over the MULTITUDE of mechanical issues I see on the daily from ford. I could have bought a new 2020 expedition fx4, optioned how I want, for under 53k and I opted out.

Whether or not they bother YOU doesn’t mean they aren’t issues. I would agree that some fit and finish issues aren’t a big deal though. Pretty common for GMs.

If I heard “operating within spec” and “the rest of the vehicles on the lot have the same [insert fit and finish problem] issue” once I heard it a dozen times.
