Sorry if answered, but WHY is my Tahoe more sluggish than older Yukon?

I'll have to take your word on the gearing, because you clearly know more than I about these things.

I DO plan on getting a BB tune though.

The BlackBear tune is your best bang for the buck for performance mods and the foundation upon which all other mods build upon. You will not regret it one bit. When it quits raining, we're going to have Justin tune our other GMCs.
