Sound deadening help?? Wood roof?

Was looking into the types of different materials and methods for making the truck less rattley, and was recommended a wood roof. Has anyone ever done that and have tips and tricks for it? I have a 06 Tahoe with 2 12s in it as of now but looking to upgrade big and want to go step by step and work my way to a good sounding Tahoe. Any help would be appreciated.

Why not use the sound deadening materials normally used in upscale audio systems installed by professionals? They work quite well when properly installed.
