Hey guys 2001 Denali 6.0 85k miles AWD

I sent it to a shop and noticed they put double platinums and I got a p0300 code and there gApped at 0.60

Could this be why I'm getting P0300 also have new plugs but just ordered a set of NHL iridium from amazing do they come already gapped ?

And I ordered some msd plugs and some Hinson covers from the spark plug wires and i plan on doing the coil packs what brand do you guys prefer ?

Fairly sure most Iridium are pre-gapped. I know the Delco ones are and that's what I put in mine.

Just a quick interweb look and with a gap too large, it's likely a misfire situation could occur triggering your code.

I don't subscribe to the idea of pre-gapped plugs. It won't necessarily be the proper gap for your application, and if the plugs got dropped it can change the gap as well. The only exception to this are the multi-electrode plugs but I think those are a load of garbage and don't recommend them anyway

The gap was originally 60, its fine like that. Ive run everything between 40 and 60 and never had a misfire. So, your issue is something different.
